Weekend Reads: To-Read List

Remember when I told you I had a book problem? Well, it hasn’t gotten any better. I seriously can’t stop myself from clicking the “to-read” button on my Goodreads shelf. Too many books and too little time. BUT here are three books on my Goodreads’ list that I’ve recently added that I am dying to read.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon— I know I am a little late on the bandwagon here, but I seriously can’t get enough of this show. I watched the first half of the  season episodes in less than 24 hours and I’ve been itching for the next episode for weeks. Thankfully, it airs again on Saturday and I’ve made sure my night is wide open. My friends rave about the books, so I’ve got to give it a try. (I mean, we’re talking about men in kilts here…) Plus, I just finished all the published Game of Thrones books so naturally I need a new series to get sucked into.

Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty — I love love LOVE this author and I can’t wait to read her newest book.  They’re relatively easy and fast-paced reads, so I can only assume this book will be similar. I’ve currently got it on my Kindle but I am waiting for a Saturday by the pool or a sunny vacation to crack the novel open.

The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah — I’ve had this book sitting on my nightstand for weeks now. It taunts me every night as I fall asleep, but I am getting to it soon! It had a highly-anticipated book release, and I’ve heard more and more people talk about it since it was published. I hope it lives up to all the hype because I have high expectations.

Do you guys have any great books in your queue to read? If so, share in the comments below! Have a great weekend!
