It’s been a little quiet in my little corner of the Internet, but we’ve been a bit busy drinking mojitos on the beach. (Rough life, right?) We spent mid June with Greg’s family in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic sitting in the sun, reading on the beach, eating as much as our stomachs would allow and spending some much quality time with one another.
It’s been a slow roll back to normalcy. Since we’ve been home, our weekends have been jammed pack with weddings, events and travel, but I hope to get some new posts up here quickly! Meanwhile, here are a couple photos of the trip as well as a few others from our adventures over the last few weeks:

Hope everyone’s doing well! Happy Fourth!

boring Saturday on the trusty iPhone 5.
Greg and I spent this past weekend in Indiana visiting family. We are both from the Hoosier state, so one weekend is never enough to time to see friends and family — let alone eating and visiting all our favorite places. We spent the two days in Evansville, where we got to catch up with a handful of family members, including our 4-month-old nephew.
It was so much fun to spend some (albeit short) time with him. He’s such a happy baby and those ears are to die for! Greg and I bought him a handful of children’s books. We got him my favorites Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, Curious George, and Guess How Much I Love You. We also got a selection of Dr. Seuss books, along with a few others. We gotta teach that baby the love of reading EARLY.
(Side note: Millie did great with him! We were a pinch hesitant to let her around him, but she was a rockstar.)
We spent Saturday night with my aunt, uncle, Greg’s brother and our sister-in-law. A lot of basketball and a lot of pool happened that night (neither of which I am good at, by the way).
The weekend went by incredibly fast, but don’t worry, I got my Donut Bank coffee fix.
Hope y’all are having a great week!
